Duke Destroys Radford 104-67

Duke despite starting sluggishly takes it to Radford with a barrage of 3 point shots. Duke shot 18 for 32, yes I said it 18 out of 32. One of the best team shooting efforts we have seen in a long time. Andre Dawkins is slowly becoming a real threat from 3. He puts in 6 of 8 from 3 and 7 of 9 overall for 20 points. Nolan Smith also put in 20 points for the Devils on 6-12 shooting.

Jon Scheyer had a quiet game of 18 points and 7 assists, and no turnovers. We will have to check back but we don’t think Scheyer has a turnover yet this year.

Duke had 25 assists as a team and 8 turnovers while forcing 16 Radford turnovers. With 5 players in double figures there was no way Radford was going to hang with the Devils, Duke did have problems however containing the big man for Radford (Artsiom Parakhouski) who scored 23 for the Highlanders, we will have more later in the day.
