carter2Coach Mike Krzyzewski and Duke garnered a commitment from 5 star power forward Wendell Carter Jr. Carter chose the Duke Blue Devils over Harvard, Georgia and Georgia Tech.

Carter brings a strong physical presence to the Duke class who can affect the game on both ends of the floor. The size and strength to play either big position, Wendell Carter Jr. is an adept finisher at the rim and a good shot blocker as well.

Offensively, Carter brings the entire package to Duke with his skills as a passer out of the post and his ability to stick the mid-range jumper. Also rebounds the basketball with the best of them and uses his size to his advantage but also maintains good body control for a big.

Carter joins a growing class that already includes 4 star wing Alex O’Connell and 5 star 2 guard Gary Trent Jr. Duke also hopes to get a point guard in the class and is targeting Matt Coleman and Trevon Duval and small forward Kevin Knox.
