Joanne P. McCallie Show to Debut Nov. 10 at NOSH
November 5, 2014

DURHAM, N.C. – The Duke Athletic Department along with Blue Devil IMG Sports Marketing is pleased to announce the upcoming dates of the Joanne P. McCallie Radio Show for the 2014-15 campaign.  For the third straight year, the show will air live at NOSH from 6:00-7:00 p.m.

The first show of the season will air on Monday, Nov. 10 and the Joanne P. McCallie show will feature six total dates for the season.  Other confirmed dates include Dec. 8, Jan. 5, Jan. 26, Feb. 23 and March 2.

McCallie along with host Morgan Patrick, enter their eighth season together with the Coach P Show.  The Coach P Radio Show airs live on WDNC AM 620.  NOSH is located at 2812 Erwin Road in Durham and can also be found at www.noshfood.com.

McCallie, who will enter her eighth season at Duke, is a three-time Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC) Coach of the Year and 2005 National Coach of the Year.  Since arriving at Duke in 2007, she has guided the Blue Devils to a 202-42 overall record, seven NCAA Tournament appearances, four ACC regular season titles and three ACC Tournament titles.

Coach P is the first Division I head coach to win a conference title in four different leagues — ACC, Big Ten, America East and the North Atlantic.  She also became the first coach to be named conference coach of the year in four different leagues.  McCallie reached 100 victories at Duke in only 122 contests, which is the second-quickest to ever reach 100 wins at a school.  She also went over the 500-win mark this past season to become just the 29th active coach to reach 500 victories.

Duke has been preseason ranked No. 7 in both the Associated Press and USA Today Sports Coaches polls, while senior Elizabeth Williams was named one of five preseason Associated Press All-America selections Wednesday.

The Joanne P. McCallie Radio Show is a production of the Blue Devil IMG Sports Network.  For those who cannot make it to watch the show live, it will also air on www.GoDuke.com via the Blue Devil Network.

Duke will open the regular season Sunday, Nov. 16 at Alabama.  Tip time will be 8:00 p.m., on the SEC Network.
